Welcome to Ottawa, Ontario, where you’ll find charming old-world buildings surrounded by picturesque natural beauty.
The first stop on an Ottawa tour should be the Rideau Canal. This waterway cuts the city in half, and it provides places for boating and paddleboarding during the summer. Visiting in winter? Not a problem—you can go ice skating along the Rideau when it ices over. On the south side of the river, you can see the Changing of the Guard Ceremony at Parliament Hill. A few blocks to the north is the National Gallery of Canada, a stunning glass-and-granite building full of art from Canadian, European, and other North American artists.
You’ll be hungry after all this walking around, so head to ByWard Market. If you see beavertails, don’t worry; they’re a pastry, not part of an actual beaver—and they’re delicious. ByWard Market also has some of the best fresh produce you’ll ever taste, so stock up on fruits and vegetables while you’re there.
After sampling the fare at ByWard Market, cross the river to visit the Canadian Museum of History in Quebec. This is where you can tour recreations of Old Canada: explore 1800s storefronts, wander into log cabins, and learn about the First Nations people who inhabited Canada for thousands of years prior to European settlement.
Round out your trip with a venture to Gatineau Park, where you can relax by the lake or take tea in the MacKenzie King estate.

Rising from the waters of Venice Lagoon is the Italian city of Venice, a city like no other.
Begin your visit in the central district of San Marco, and walk upon one of the world’s great squares, St Mark’s Square. The square is surrounded by some of the city’s finest jewels such as St Mark’s Basilica, St Mark’s Campanile and Doge’s Palace.
Just outside stand the Columns of San Marco and San Teodoro. From here, journey along one of the world’s great aquatic thoroughfares, The Grand Canal. Glide past elegant palazzos; once the homes of wealthy merchants, today many of these palaces house important museums and galleries.
Known as The City Of Bridges, Venice has hundreds to explore. The Accademia Bridge links the San Marco district to the Accademia Gallery, and offers some of the Grand Canal’s finest views. The oldest of the Grand Canal’s four crossings is the Rialto Bridge, which today still serves as the gateway to the Rialto Markets. The most famous of all is the Bridge of Sighs, which connects Doge’s Palace to the historic prison.
Venice is a city to get lost in, so put away your map and let her surprise you. Discover waterfront promenades of The Zattere and the sleepy canals and spacious piazzas of Castello. On the tiny island of Murano, glassmakers have been creating works of incredible delicacy and color for over 700 years. Further across the lagoon, the island of Burano is famed for its brightly colored houses and exquisite lace.
Venice has shone her light into the far corners of the world for over one and a half thousand years. Just remember, this city smiles upon those who linger. So stay for a few nights, or stay for a month, and savor every moment she has to offer.

Ottawa is the capital of Canada, and the fourth largest city in the country. Ottawa is situated on the south bank of the Ottawa River, and contains the mouths of the Rideau River and Rideau Canal. The older part of the city (including what remains of Bytown) is known as Lower Town, and occupies an area between the canal and the rivers.
The most important places to visit in Ottawa are: Parliament building (undoubtedly among the most beautiful parliament buildings in the world. It should be a must see for all visitors to Ottawa), Chateau Laurier (now part of a hotel. This famous Ottawa landmark retains much of its grandeur, inside you'll find luxurious settings and ornate decor), Supreme Court of Canada (take a tour of this important building. You can even attend the hearings here), Notre Dame Basilica (constructed in the 19th century this beautiful church is among the surviving churches of Ottawa), Rideau Canal (it's a UNESCO world heritage site. The canals offers excellent views of the city. In winter time, it's transformed into a massive skating rink) and many more.
This video offers a lot of tips to help you plan the perfect vacation. If you want to save time and money, the most important Ottawa travel tip is to compare prices before booking a hotel room or a flight. You can do this for free on http://bookinghunter.com, a site that searches through hundreds of other travel websites in real time for the best travel deals available.

https://www.expedia.com/Seoul.d178308.Destination-Travel-Guides
Watch our video highlighting some of the best things to do in Seoul, but beware—it just might cause you to start planning your next Korean vacation!
Join us in Seoul, the capital of South Korea. This intriguing destination boasts an innovative, forward-thinking culture, but it’s also steeped in history. While traveling around this northwestern city, you’ll come across massive shopping complexes just on the outskirts of ancient temples and palaces.
Take a trip back in time at the Changdeokgung Palace, which was built in 1405 as one of the Five Grand Palaces established by the Joseon Dynasty. Though all the city’s palaces were burned down during the 1592 Japanese invasion, Changdeokgung was the first to be reconstructed. Venture around Injeongjeon, the throne hall, and step across the Geumcheongyo Bridge, which is considered one of the city’s oldest bridges. Deoksugung is another one of the Five Grand Palaces, and it’s unique in that it incorporates a Western-style garden. Don’t miss the other royal grounds, including Changgyeonggung Palace, Gyeongbokgung Palace, and Unhyeongung Palace.
If you’re really looking to get a sense of the more modern, Seoul tourism scene, prepare to shop ’til you drop! This city takes shopping seriously, as you can find stores and markets scattered all around town. COEX Mall is Korea’s largest underground shopping mall, while Namdaemun Market features hundreds of vendors selling almost anything you can imagine, from kimchi to kitchenware. In the mood for some late-night shopping? Discover some of the best finds in fashion at Dongdaemun Market, which is open all through the night, closing around 7 a.m.
Continue your Seoul city tour by making your way to the theaters to witness some marvelous performances. These theaters know how to put on a show–Korean martial artists, dazzling dancers, and talented musicians take the stage at the Korea House, Jeongdong Theater, and Seoul Arts Center. Next, visit the Gyeongbokgung Palace to catch the opening and closing of the royal palace gates and the royal guard changing, or check out the Bosingak daily bell-ringing ceremony.
Whether you decide to join guided Seoul tours or prefer to venture around the Korean destination on your own terms, you won’t be disappointed. From royal grounds to theater productions, the entertainment is endless. Press play on our travel guide video to get inspiration for your next trip to South Korea.

Travel By Boat On The Ottawa In Canada
Ottawa (Listeni/ˈɒtəwə/ or /ˈɒtəwɑː/) is the capital of Canada. It stands on the south bank of the Ottawa River in the eastern portion of Southern Ontario. Ottawa borders Gatineau, Quebec; the two form the cores of the Ottawa–Gatineau census metropolitan area (CMA) and the National Capital Region (NCR).[10] The 2011 census reported a population of 883,391 within the city, and 1,236,324 within the CMA, making them the fourth-largest city and the fourth-largest CMA in Canada respectively. The City of Ottawa has since estimated it had a population of 943,260 in 2013.[11]
Founded in 1826 as Bytown, and incorporated as "Ottawa" in 1855, the city has evolved into a political and technological centre of Canada. Its original boundaries were expanded through numerous minor annexations and were ultimately replaced by a new city incorporation and major amalgamation in 2001 which significantly increased its land area. The name "Ottawa" is derived from the Algonquin word Odawa, meaning "to trade". For more info: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ottawa

With Audrey being away at a travel blogging summit at the White House in Washington, DC, I decided it would be a perfect opportunity to visit my good buddy Rob while check out Ottawa for the first time.
Follow Rob's journey at #SHABL - Stop Having A Boring Life
YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/user/bloggeries
Travel Blog: http://stophavingaboringlife.com/
It ended up being one of coolest weekends I've had in a long time. These days, I'm slaving away at school work while trying to keep up with my online work commitments most weekends. Getting outside of my apartment and traveling again reinvigorated me in a way that I haven't felt in quite some time.
During my less than 48 hour visit, Rob and I covered a lot of the main attractions in Ottawa along with spending plenty of time of time dedicated for eating, drinking, catching up and talking about our travels dreams and future projects we have on the go.
Visiting Ottawa - First Impressions of the capital city of Canada script:
Well, it is time to escape Kingston this weekend. I'm going to Ottawa via train and I'm going to meet one of my good buddies Rob. He does what we do. His website is Stop Having A Boring Life Dot Com and he also has a YouTube channel by the same name. I'm flying solo today. Audrey is at a conference in Washington DC, so I'll be all alone on my train journey.
This is the first time I've taken a train in Canada during winter months. With it only being a two hour ride I enjoyed looking out the window at the snow covered scenery while also catching up on some much needed rest.
It is my first time ever in Ottawa. Now it is time to go find Rob.
Alright, so I've met up with my buddy Rob. He's taking me to his favorite sushi place. All you can eat. We are just going to absolutely crush a meal here. We are.
What did we order so far? Oh man. We got yummy yummy rolls, rainbow rolls, dragon rolls, sushi nagari. We've got seaweed salad, which I love, miso soup spare ribs. Um...we've got everything! Hahaha! We're just going to pig out.
Here my man Rob has got the beaver tail. So what exactly are these? Beavertails, are like an iconic Canadian snack - especially in Ottawa. Basically, it is just dough but it looks like a beaver tail. If you know what a beaver is. It totally does. And it is covered in brown sugar and this one here is called the killer loose sunrise because it also has lemon. It is my personal favorite and you can't come to Ottawa without having one. Let's devour these. Do it man.
Alright, we're doing this man. First bite. That is so good man. It's so sweet and delicious. I'm going to eat them both. Be my guest.
After feasting on food, Rob did a great job playing tour guide showing me around Ottawa. Some of places we covered included the Parliament Hill, the National War Memorial, Rideau Canal, the National Gallery of Canada, Notre Dame Cathedral and the Terry Fox statue. Man, I can't believe we did that much all in one day. Afterwards we headed to his place for dinner and beers.
Well, Rob gave me the awesome tour of Ottawa. It is so cool meeting up with him again. We've known each other online for like several years. We finally met up in Germany for the first time. Yeah! And we do the same thing - we're totally on the same wavelength. Why don't well tell all of our viewers at Samuel and Audrey what is it that you do? And what is your site and all of that?
Basically, I do what these guys do and there is a lot of other people doing it. And I really enjoy hanging out with guys like Sam or other people that do what I like to do. Because we share the same passion about what we do. What we do is we travel and somehow through sharing a lot of content, because we love doing it, it has managed to turn into more than that. Where other opportunities come up and that helps perpetuate doing it even more. I run Stop Having A Boring Life. It is my blog but it is also my YouTube channel here. So, the link is probably going to be in the description. Yeah, absolutely and Rob really lives up to that man. This guy does not live a boring life, trust me. So I travel basically most of the year. I live in the Caribbean and I stay there for three or four months a year usually and then the rest of the year I'm just out and about traveling around. Cool experiences. Documenting. I used to write it on my blog all the time but now I am more into video so basically I'm making daily vlogs and different random things as well. But I basically do what Sam does and I travel around working on my laptop and getting into adventures.
This is part of our Travel in Canada series. We're making a series of videos showcasing Canadian culture, Canadian arts, Canadian foods, Canadian religion, Canadian cuisine and Canadian people.

Visit http://www.phenomenalplace.com to check out great information about mysterious and fantastic places on earth. The Ottawa bus tour shows you around the city and the guide (who is also the driver) speaks in both English and French. The important places shown in this tour are the Parliament building, Rideau Canal and all the embassies in the city. I did not begin recording soon enough, so it definitely misses some parts of the tour.

Produced by the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, "Las Vegas 360: Travel & Tourism" looks at the positive impacts of tourism on the Southern Nevada Community.
Starting at the northeast corner of Flamingo Road and walking north you will pass several hotels. All have something to offer the first time tourist. For now, let’s just walk up and down the center strip without going into the hotels.
The following stroll past thirteen center strip hotels is about a mile and a half long and is a great way to acclimate yourself to Vegas.
3595 Las Vegas Blvd. South, Las Vegas, NV 89109 - (800) 227-2279
The Barbary Coast opened in 1979 with 150 rooms and still has less than 200. It is one of a dozen Las Vegas casino properties (including Sam’s Town and the Stardust) owned by Boyd Gaming, a publicly owned gaming company that trades on the New York Stock Exchange. With $2 billion in revenues, Boyd Gaming also owns casinos in several other states.
Take note that there is a shuttle pickup area on the Barbary Coast’s south side on Flamingo Avenue (right across from Ballys.) This is where you can get picked to go to other hotels (such as the Rio and Palms) that are west on Flamingo.
3555 Las Vegas Blvd. South, Las Vegas, NV 89109 - (800) 732-2111
The Flamingo is one of four hotels on the Las Vegas center strip owned by Caesars Entertainment.
The others are Caesars Palace, Paris and Bally’s. Previously known as Park Place Entertainment Corp., Caesars is $4.5 billion public company that trades on the New York Stock Exchange.
Steeped in Vegas history, the Flamingo was one of the first hotel/casinos on the strip originally opening on New Year’s eve in 1946.
The 105 room hotel was built on a dusty road in the middle of nowhere by mobster Benjamin "Bugsy" Siegel who was murdered six months later. It became the Flamingo Hilton in 1971 before being sold to Caesar’s in 1999. It now has more than 3,500 rooms and one of the best pool areas on the strip.
3535 Las Vegas Blvd. South, Las Vegas, NV 89109 - (800) 634-6441
...is certainly not a luxurious hotel but it has inexpensive room rates and its location is ideal. The oriental-themed hotel built in the shape of a Japanese pagoda has been open for 4 decades. It is famous for its massive vintage automobile collection and its "Legends in Concert" show which has been running for more than 20 years. Originally with 180 rooms, it now has 2,700 rooms which it manages to keep pretty full.
